Why Invest in Spain?

Spain - A Privileged Place

The attractive beaches, the beautiful landscape, the conserved environment, the fine weather, the modern communication facilities, together with the open, cosmopolitan local people have turned Spain into a privileged place to live. Many Europeans have chosen Spain to spend their holidays. Spain boasts rich and varied accommodation facilities, from five-star Hotels to luxury villas and apartments. No matter your choice of destination and accommodation, you will find the Spain, fun, exciting, relaxing and beautiful, with a guaranteed climate to enjoy.

Spain - A Natural Environment

Spain is undoubtedly one of the most attractive destinations in Europe when it comes to enjoying the sun and the beaches in full contact with nature. Spain is a land privileged not only by fine weather but also by its environment. Golden sandy Spanish beaches along its coast, and inland many charming and quaint villages and towns, where green valleys of fertile orchards contrast with mountains. The sun shines almost all year round, and Spain enjoys an enviable average temperature, allowing for swimming and water sports any time of year. The natural landscape and parks also provide for walking, horse-riding, bicycle riding or hiking.

Spain - A Colourful History

The Romans and the Moors established important settlements in these lands, as corroborated by the many archaeological sites, huge castles, stone-carved churches and outstanding civil buildings can be found all over Spain. The modern Spanish transport infrastructure makes it easy to explore and get to know the rich and varied Spanish culture of this historic land.

Spain – A Great Investment

Apart from all of the above let us never forget that Spain is just a two and a half hour hop from most destinations in Northern Europe, making it a great location from which to commute, enjoy weekend breaks or holidays, without ever being far from home and family.

Unlike many of the emerging Eastern European destinations Spain also has an established infrastructure and offers complete contrast from coast to mountains, cities to resorts or enchanting and historical white villages.

Although the Costa del Sol has experienced a more stable housing market in the last two years, prices are still rising by at least 10% per annum and where there are stories of prices having dropped this is because two years ago many buyers were paying way over the true market value and there has been some levelling out. If you think the price is too high, be prepared to make an offer; most vendors will listen.

Elsewhere in Spain, on the Costa de la Luz, Granada, Madrid & Valencia the market is being driven by an upsurge in purchases by Spanish Nationals and prices are still strong with annual property inflation figures between 15 & 20% being normal.
